Edtech startup IOL recently shifted its focus from content production to tweaking its internally-developed systems to be used by schools in managing their operations from enrollment to online classes, financial accounts monitoring, and grades reporting.

A recent graduate of the 2019 IdeaSpace accelerator program, IOL offers three (3) systems under their Digital Transformation Program (DTP): a cloud-based school management information system with an enrollment and payment feature; a learning management system (LMS) with ready-to-use content from partners; and a comprehensive training and certification program on online teaching for teachers.

The DTP was developed based on the needs assessment conducted by IOL during the enhanced community quarantine. From this assessment, the team behind IOL began modifying their systems to suit the needs of schools. IOL has further structured these systems into one complete solution and has partnered with other EdTech startups to ensure that all aspects of school management are covered.

IOL also partnered with two alumni of the Ideaspace accelerator program, Frontlearners and DCLA, to provide content for their blended learning system. This will ensure that schools will have readily available content for kinder to Grade 12, along with IOL’s high-quality accounting, business, and finance courses for senior high school students.
