In our eighth year of running the program, this is the first time that the entirety of it was held online. Since the official beginning of the acceleration program in August, the teams have participated in numerous learning sessions essential to building their startups—from effectual thinking, culture, and leadership; to marketing, finance, legal requirements, taxation, and data privacy; and even an upcoming month focused on tech and sales.
Alongside these sessions, they also have access to mentorship, financial resources, and weekly check-ins with the IdeaSpace team.
Like the rest of the world, the startups, mentors, and the IdeaSpace team all had to adjust to the first-ever completely online accelerator program. The growing pains we had to overcome ultimately allowed us to explore and innovate. While there is a lot more work to be done looking ahead to our first online demo day on December 11, we are proud to have witnessed tremendous growth in the teams in the midst of adversity. Stay tuned for updates on Demo Day through our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn!
