With tax season fast approaching, two startups from different spaces came together to assist healthcare professionals who have worked harder than ever during the pandemic. Taxumo, a graduate of IdeaSpace Batch 4, is an end-to-end online tax assistance platform that announced its partnership with home health care super app AIDE to provide its services to their thousands of medical professionals.
According to Taxumo CEO EJ Arboleda, they will be able to enjoy the ease and convenience of computing, filing, and paying their taxes through its BizReg service at substantially lower subscription rates of up to almost 60 percent. This covers processing their BIR Certificate of Registration, processing their Authority to Print, helping them get their initial 10 Booklets of Official Receipt/Invoice, as well as securing Stamped Books of Accounts. In addition to these perks, they will also conduct exclusive webinars for doctors to help them understand the ins and outs of taxes, business registration, and maximizing Taxumo’s features for their businesses.
For them, this partnership is not only about the professionals but also about their patients.
“Like most professionals, medical practitioners are too busy with the actual work: in their case, attending to the needs of their patients. With the pandemic, most (if not all) of them work extra long hours just so they can fulfill their duties as healthcare professionals,” shares EJ. “This often means that the administrative side takes the backseat. This partnership is proof of our strong commitment to help Filipino healthcare professionals, so that they can continue delivering the best quality of care to every Filipino, especially during these trying times. Without the stress of taxes, our medical frontliners can focus on helping Filipinos through this pandemic.”
When looking at the opportunities from this partnership, EJ says that he hopes that Taxumo working with AIDE leads to creating more partnerships of this nature to assist them with their business registration and tax needs. Evan Tan, Taxumo’s CMO says that this partnership will impact 4,000 of AIDE’s healthcare professionals.
Through the Taxumo platform, it is easier for them to fulfil their business obligations so that they are empowered to balance their time and energy on their work and themselves.
