As the world came to a standstill because of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses across different sectors and industries struggled to survive. The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector is among the most affected, and to support them as they embrace change and innovation, BusinessWorld’s SparkUp will be holding its BusinessWorld Insights SparkUp Entrep Series with the theme “Innovating towards a Better Normal.”

On June 24, the discussion will revolve around the theme “Future-Proof: Thriving amidst Crisis.” SparkUp has invited speakers who are building that future, who are leading the way with their firms as they act on the opportunities created by the crisis. This session will tackle what makes firms resilient and how others can learn from their best practices, as well as the best way businesses can position themselves to thrive in spite of the pandemic. The panel includes Lope Doromal, chief technology officer of IBM Philippines; Roland Ros, founder of Kumu; Miko David, co-founder of David & Golyat Management, Inc.; Gorby Dimalanta, co-founder and head of business development of BukidFresh, one of the startups from IdeaSpace’s 2019 cohort.

This online forum series will be shown live and free on IdeaSpace Philippines’, BusinessWorld’s, and The Philippine STAR’s Facebook pages. See you online tomorrow at 11 am!
